Arvada, CO: N-Science Corporation (N-Sci) announces new Engineering Services contract.

N-Science Corporation announced today that they have entered into an agreement with Broad-Reach Engineering to provide engineering services and consultation to BRE’s new Star Tracker/Camera development effort. BRE has offices in Golden CO and Tempe AZ. Broad Reach Engineering is provider of Avionics, Software, and Space Systems Engineering to a wide range of aerospace customers.

Star Trackers/Cameras are deployed to provide navigation and attitude control information in many air and space applications. Star Trackers are highly light-sensitive precision instruments, which accurately determine position and orientation by observing and recognizing the location of stars.

The N-Sci engineering team will aid in the development of the BRE Star Camera/Tracker specification as well as implementation recommendations to achieve the goals and requirements.

N-Sci will provide optical telescope design & analysis, detector and stray light control solutions, and so called Lost In Space/Star Track Algorithm solutions

It is expected that this star tracker effort will result in an extremely capable system that can provide for minimal power consumption, provide requisite accuracy in pitch, yaw, and roll, maintain track thru vehicle accelerations within requirements, and provide minimum mass and volume impact utilizing the latest in packaging technologies.
